Associate Software Engineer

The Associate Software Engineer will work closely with the engineering team to develop key innovation features and ensure systems interoperate effectively to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Team Lead to drive technical decision-making and solutions for the team as they build onboard new merchants and partners
- Contribute to the development of key innovation features, collaborating with peer teams to ensure systems can interoperate effectively and cohesively to provide robust solutions that meet the needs of the business
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 1 years of software development experience
- Analytical SQL Skills for Data Analysis in Postgres database
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
- Dedication to a high quality in performing technical code reviews
- Exposure to microservice architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, SpringBoot; UI/UX using Angular
- Exposure to highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
- Fair understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
