CAD Technician II

Job Title CAD Technician II Job Description We are seeking a CAD Technician II who will perform technical tasks to produce complex drawings efficiently using CAD technology. This role requires a solid understanding of specifications and their application in producing engineering drawings. The position involves providing direction, support, and training to other employees while following established work processes and developing process improvements with management oversight.

Responsibilities

Manage and support special projects by deploying quality assessment forms in ArcGIS Field Maps and providing training to site superintendents. Travel to job sites to assist with technical assessments and system implementation. Create and deploy quality assessment forms in ArcGIS Field Maps during the construction of wind, solar, and battery sites. Essential Skills Proficiency in CAD technology and project coordination. Experience with ArcGIS applications and geodatabase management. Strong communication skills to train construction site managers and superintendents. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an Associate degree with equivalent work experience in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Professional certification in CAD or engineering technology is preferred. Six Sigma Yellow Belt is preferred.

Work Environment

The position requires approximately 25% travel time to job sites, with the remainder of the time being remote or based in the Juno Beach office. The role involves both office and fieldwork environments, requiring adaptability to different working conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
