Deal Operations Contracts Specialist (Contract) Location: Remote (PST or CST Time Zones Preferred) Duration: Potential Extension up to 12+ Months) About the Opportunity Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading technology organization to hire a Deal Operations Contracts Specialist to support a high-volume Deal Desk function. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in contract operations, legal operations, deal desk, or contract management who thrive in fast-paced environments and have strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will focus on contract review, redlining, workflow management, and process optimization while partnering closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams. This is an operationally focused role and does not involve contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and redact customer order forms, amendments, and related commercial documents using established playbooks and pre-approved language.
• Perform contract redlining in accordance with company standards, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Triage incoming contract requests and ensure timely routing to appropriate stakeholders.
• Manage contract workflow processes within Salesforce and CPQ environments.
• Utilize Ironclad for contract review, management, and approval workflows.
• Identify contract risks, inconsistencies, and process bottlenecks that could impact deal execution timelines.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance across high-volume contract transactions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, and Contracts Management teams to support efficient deal processing.
• Follow established best practices for contract administration and document management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help streamline contract operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce and Ironclad, OR
• 2+ years of Salesforce and Ironclad experience combined with 3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Legal Operations, Contract Management, or a related field.
• Experience reviewing and redlining commercial agreements, order forms, amendments, or similar contract documentation.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working alongside in-house legal teams or contract management organizations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ workflows.
• Background in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Legal Operations, Contracts Administration, or Contract Management.
• Experience supporting SaaS, technology, or enterprise sales organizations.
• Process improvement and operational excellence mindset.
