Early Career Consultant – IT Infrastructure

As an Early Career Consultant – IT Infrastructure, you will support the delivery of secure IT infrastructure projects, contributing to the design and implementation of technology systems for clients and communities.
Responsibilities
- Support IT infrastructure consulting services, including cabling infrastructure, network systems, and technology systems design
- Assist with contract administration activities related to IT infrastructure and technology systems
- Contribute to physical IT infrastructure audits and technical assessments
- Support projects through all phases including concept design, schematic design, detailed design, construction documentation, tender review, construction administration, and close‑out
- Implement design mark‑ups into Revit and/or AutoCAD drawings
- Prepare professional, client‑facing technical documentation, specifications, and reports
- Participate in technical and project meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the local and broader Building Technologies team and other WSP disciplines
Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Foundational experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery
- Willingness and ability to obtain Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 Security Clearance
- Availability to work standard business hours with flexibility for occasional overtime
- Ability to report to a home office location a minimum of three days per week
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel as required
