Primary Skills: Electrical Distribution Design (Advanced), Power System Analysis (Advanced), Substation Design (Advanced), CAD (Intermediate), Vendor Compliance (Intermediate), Contract Type: W2 Contract Duration: 6-12 Months Location: New York, NY (Li-Remote) Pay Range: $80. - $90.00 Per Hour #LP Job Summary: This role supports the design, construction, and operation of hyperscale data centers, focusing on electrical infrastructure. You will contribute to new facility development, troubleshoot operational issues, and streamline construction resolutions. The position involves reviewing and developing electrical systems, providing engineering solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and develop electrical systems for hyperscale data centers.
- Provide engineering solutions for operational issues and improvements.
- Streamline and resolve construction-originated engineering challenges.
- Peer review design consultant deliverables and provide feedback.
- Develop presentations to communicate findings and options to stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution systems design and construction.
- Proficiency in performing power system analysis.
- Experience with mission-critical facilities design.
Experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical distribution systems, including primary substations up to 345kV, is required.
