Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Employment Law Paralegal for an innovative plaintiff-side employment litigation firm. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates residing in California. POSITION OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support a high-volume California employment litigation practice focused on achieving exceptional client outcomes through strategic, fast-paced case management. This role is ideal for a litigation paralegal who thrives in a performance-driven environment, enjoys substantive casework, and can independently drive matters forward with minimal oversight. The firm leverages technology and AI-driven processes to eliminate administrative inefficiencies, allowing legal professionals to focus on impactful litigation work. PERKS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft and manage litigation documents, including discovery, motions, mediation briefs, case summaries, and related pleadings
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of California employment litigation, from case intake through resolution
  • Coordinate and manage case deadlines, discovery schedules, court filings, and litigation workflows
  • Prepare, organize, and analyze case files, evidence, and supporting documentation to advance litigation strategy
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties while maintaining exceptional client service
  • Drive cases forward proactively by identifying next steps, managing priorities, and ensuring timely completion of litigation tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of California civil litigation paralegal experience; employment litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience drafting substantive litigation documents, including discovery, motions, mediation briefs, and case-related pleadings
  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and deadline-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Prior experience working remotely and proficiency with legal technology platforms, document management systems, and virtual collaboration tools

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This opportunity offers a competitive hourly compensation package ranging from $85,000–$120,000 depending on experience, along with overtime opportunities, medical benefits with employer contributions, 401(k) matching, paid time off, paid holidays, internet reimbursement, annual professional expense reimbursement, and company-provided equipment.
