Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Accounting Data Entry Associate to join our Accounting team on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible for submitting UPS and freight damage claims daily, reviewing and processing refunds, and ensuring that our company's suppliers are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As an Accounting Data Entry Associate at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
- Submitting UPS and freight damage claims daily with a special attention to older claims
- Completing all damaged and missing package claim paperwork
- Reviewing and marking refund checks for accuracy and payment
- Updating corresponding documents with the status of each claim at each stage
- Price checking and reviewing all invoices for approval prior to payment
- Resolving inventory discrepancies with internal and external parties
- Creating payments to ensure vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner
- Data entry using NetSuite
- Effectively working with various internal parties to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payments
- Responding to all co-worker and vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (or related field)
- Proficient data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pleasant and personal demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
