Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Advocate - Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Researching and responding to written inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing your expertise in healthcare or health insurance to provide informed and objective responses.
  • Performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Utilizing Microsoft suite and demonstrating strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision, making sound decisions, and taking initiative to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment.
  • Experience in provider outreach, decision-making, and responding quickly to questions, with a strong understanding of healthcare or health insurance principles.
  • Data entry and/or typing experience, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • 5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing, with a strong understanding of healthcare or health insurance principles.
  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a customer-facing role.
