Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Live Chat Support Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a live chat assistant, you'll be the friendly face (or text!) that greets and guides customers, helping them with inquiries or issues they may have encountered. Whether they're asking for product details on a website or reaching out on Facebook or Instagram, your role is crucial in providing timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support via live chat on business websites and social media platforms

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Use your communication skills to engage and assist customers, building trust and loyalty
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless support and resolution of customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and standards for customer satisfaction and support

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., communications, customer service) preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic English writing skills required; proficiency in multiple languages a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with live chat software and customer support platforms a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or live chat support

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
  • Experience with CRM software and customer relationship management
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative)
