Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at careerzynith. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers in a positive and approachable manner, assist with selection of merchandise, complete transactions, and answer questions regarding the store and merchandise.
  • Maintain a Clean and Well-Stocked Store: Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Stock Shelves and Recover Merchandise: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Process Transactions and Handle Customer Funds: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure a Safe and Secure Shopping Environment: Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.

Position Requirements

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative who possesses the following qualifications:

Education and Experience

We prefer candidates who have completed high school or equivalent and have experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.

Physical Requirements

The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height is required. You must also be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Availability

We require a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as weekends and holidays.
