Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for receiving and resolving inbound calls from child support client stakeholders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations. You will also be responsible for categorizing calls, recording abusive and/or extraordinary calls, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong understanding of policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a high level of technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and resolve inbound calls from child support client stakeholders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations

  • Categorize calls and record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls
  • Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
  • Perform data entry tasks, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad skills
  • Type a minimum of 35 WPM (a typing test will be administered during the interview process)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • At least one year prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the position duties
  • Quiet and distraction-free place in your home to work at a desk/table
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 50 mbps download speed (cable or fiber)
  • Smartphone with Android OS or iPhone for user authentication

Training and Support

* Self-directed training approach, allowing you to read materials and complete training modules at your own pace

  • Periodic meetings with your Supervisor to discuss progress, address questions, and receive guidance
  • Regular support and feedback to ensure your success in the role

* Competitive salary of $14.00/hr

  • Full-time day shifts only (between 7am CST and 10pm CST)
  • At least 1 weekend day
  • Must reside in one of the following states for consideration: AL, FL, GA, KS, MO, NC, SC, OH, TN, TX, WV
