The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Support team as a Remote Text Chat Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and responding to customer inquiries through text-based communication in a professional and timely manner. You will provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customer accounts, orders, and discrepancies, and document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of all communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed established goals for response times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Fluent written English: You must be fluent in written English with exceptional grammar and spelling skills.
  • Prior customer support experience: You should have prior experience in customer support, preferably in a text-based or remote role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills: You must have strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Typing speed and accuracy: You should have a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in chat and ticketing platforms: You must be proficient in using chat and ticketing platforms, as well as basic computer skills.
  • Multitasking and time management: You should be able to multitask and manage multiple conversations simultaneously.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace: You must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
  • Flexibility: You should be flexible to work shifts as required, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
