Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines that support our business operations. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with our Studios and Project Innovation teams to gather data requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity. You will also collaborate with our Data Science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable, cloud-based data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools, such as Apache Wind current, Databricks, and Snowflake

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity
• Develop and maintain data sets, tables, and perspectives using Wind current and other data modeling tools
• Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
• Collaborate with our Data Science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our data engineering practices

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience with SQL

• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3
• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Gitlab, Wind current, AWS S3, and social data sets
• 2+ years of experience working with a cloud platform
• 2+ years of experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets
• Experience using Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other data engineering tools

Preferred Qualifications

* Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Gitlab, and other DevOps tools
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
