Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Operations Analytics and Performance department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, as well as developing and deploying data-driven solutions to support our business objectives. You'll work closely with our analytics team to develop and maintain our data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible.

Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:

• Locating and extracting data from various sources to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
• Cleaning and curating datasets to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Collaborating with our analytics team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that support business objectives
• Designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
• Developing and deploying data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
• Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and errors
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics
• Collaborating with our IT team to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems and infrastructure

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on designing and building data infrastructure and developing data-driven solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns, as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with Python, SAS, or other programming languages, as well as experience with cloud-based solutions such as Azure or AWS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or other quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or other quantitative field
• Previous experience working in the airline industry or with data-intensive applications
• Experience with cloud-based solutions such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
