Job Responsibilities
As a full stack data engineer at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business needs. This will involve:
- Assembling and maintaining large datasets to support data science and analytics initiatives
- Collaborating with data researchers to develop new data products and solutions
- Designing and implementing data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
- Developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, database frameworks, and tools for real-time and batch data processing
- Investigating and resolving data quality and integrity issues
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to exchange complex data related to assigned tasks
- Resolving issues and roadblocks as they arise
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain large-scale data systems that support business needs
- Collaborate with data researchers to develop new data products and solutions
- Design and implement data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
- Develop ETL processes, database frameworks, and tools for real-time and batch data processing
- Investigate and resolve data quality and integrity issues

Essential Capabilities
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Experience working with large datasets and developing data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes
Preferred Capabilities
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with REST API development
- Experience with Purple data platform, including Sky Blue Data Pipeline, Purple Databricks using Python or Scala, Application Services, Sky Blue Data Lake, Sky Blue Capabilities, Event Hubs, Event Matrices, and Rationale Application
- Experience building Purple DevOps pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaaS), and automation
