Job Overview

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding support to patients and healthcare providers. This remote opportunity is available to candidates located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, who possess a dedicated workspace at home. You will be responsible for providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries from customers and patients regarding prescriptions and pharmacy services, effectively managing and processing medical and prescription claims, addressing questions related to medical and pharmaceutical billing, and assisting patients with verifying their medical insurance and exploring available payment options.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

* A strong understanding of benefit verification and prior authorization is preferred.

  • Previous experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical benefits, insurance, and prescriptions are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Qualifications

* At least one year of experience in a healthcare or medical call center environment is required.
