Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk – Virtual Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Transferring data from paper formats, recorders, or scanners to digital formats
  • Entering data into databases, records, and files with accuracy and speed
  • Handling numerical data and creating spreadsheets
  • Organizing and curating large datasets
  • Updating databases and records with new information
  • Correcting and modifying inaccurate files and records
  • Maintaining data confidentiality and security
  • Verifying data by checking and comparing source documentation
  • Organizing paper formats and material source files as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in data entry or a related field
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (touch typing system preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
