Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Reviewing and processing large volumes of medical evaluations with precision and attention to detail
  • Accurately inputting data into our established database, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Communicating effectively with internal team members to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information, adhering to strict data protection protocols
  • Interpreting and applying medical terminology, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Utilizing exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office Suite applications
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • A background in an educational or healthcare environment is advantageous, although not required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand is preferred, but not necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare environment, with a focus on data entry and medical terminology

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing systems
  • Certification in medical terminology, such as CMT or RMT
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and other healthcare software applications
