This role will have occasional on site expectations.
- Job Responsibilities
- Perform verification on orders that are selected for review to ensure validity
- Perform research using online search tools and by contacting customers and banks to verify information
- Provide customer service to customers who respond to contacts made by the Fraud Prevention Team
- Attempt to stop any approved fraud orders found by calls or linking orders by contacting the warehouses or carriers which ever applies.
- Work closely with Team Lead and Managers to help identify and stop new fraud trends
- Work closely with the Customer Care department to ensure customer satisfaction for all legitimate Overstock.com customers
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

- Strong analytical background
- Detail Orientated
- Must possess strong internet research skills along with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to be professionally persistent over the phone
- Previous fraud prevention, finance, or customer service experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and proficient at typing
- Be organized, show attention to detail and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adjust schedule to the seasonal demands of the retail industry and be flexible to overtime during peak season
- Pass a criminal and financial background check

- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
