Global Daily Data Coordinator - INTERNAL HIRE

We are a remote organization with researchers and partners located across all crises and conflicts. The role The position will coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the daily data production process globally. The Global Daily Data Coordinator will be part of the Methodology & Knowledge Management team and report to the Associate Manager, Methodology & Knowledge Management. This is a full time position that involves weekend work to provide continuous seven-day support for regional daily data operations. This position is fully remote and can be done from any location with reliable internet service. It is open to current ACLED team members only. Specific responsibilities The Global Daily Data Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks: Lead in defining and setting-up processes and workflows for daily data implementation across all new countries added to the project. Serve as the primary liaison for Research desks on daily data operations, providing both implementation assistance and ongoing support. Coordinate between the Research Desk, Data Management, and DCMI around all daily data issues. Coordinate, update and support desk team to implement changes in the data management processes. Create, maintain and update global manuals and workflow templates. Gather and integrate best practices in collaboration with the relevant desks. Provide the desks with support on all fronts during country crises, including ad-hoc methodology decisions, organizing additional coding support, training and onboarding. Step in globally during emergencies or unforeseen instances, technical issues, scheduling conflicts, or an unexpected unavailability of an ARM or RM. Engage with the Training Team and Research Desks to ensure daily data needs are reflected in training and onboarding. Skills and Experience ACLED is seeking applicants who have the following skills and experience: Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute new initiatives across a variety of settings and conditions. High flexibility and adaptability in managing different project lifecycles, responding to shifts in strategic focus, and operating within evolving systems and processes Problem solving and result-oriented approach, with a hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with a wide arrange of tasks during critical project phases. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and serve as a clear, proactive communicator across departments, with strong relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, keep deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure of daily deadlines within crisis situations. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Availability to work on weekends.
