The Green Career Readiness Training is a six-week, interactive online program designed for motivated students and recent graduates who want to explore careers in the environmental, sustainability, or nonprofit sectors. Whether youre pursuing a degree in environmental science, taking climate-focused courses, or just passionate about making a difference, this training gives you the tools to turn interest into actionand action into a career path. • Week 1 Intro to Green Careers Explore roles in climate, sustainability, and environmental justice. Discover where your interests and skills align within the green economy.
• Week 2 Building Your Professional Persona Create a polished resume, strengthen your LinkedIn profile, and learn how to brand yourself for purpose-driven work.
• Week 3 Networking 101 Gain tools for building relationshipswith peers, mentors, and professionalsusing strategies that feel authentic and accessible.
• Week 4 How to Be a Leader Develop early-career leadership skills learn how to manage up, contribute on teams, and grow your voice in mission-driven spaces.
• Week 5 Interviewing 101Learn how to articulate your strengths and experiences, preparing you to tackle any interview scenario with confidence and professionalism.
• Week 6 Communication and Project Management Gain technical skills in managing long-term projects through time management and communicate your project's impact.
