Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Customer Engineer at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and assessing large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure
• Helping clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to use accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance
• Working closely with internal Cloud AI teams to remove roadblocks and shape the future of services
• Collaborating with clients to develop repeatable assets that enable other clients and internal teams to leverage AI-optimized infrastructure
• Influencing Google Cloud approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for client requirements
• Touring client sites and attending events as needed

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
• Experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions aligned with the client with defined scope and success metrics

Desired Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Experience with education and fine-tuning large models (i.e., image, language, segmentation, advice, genomics) with accelerators
• Experience running MLPerf benchmarks
• Experience with performance profiling tools (i.e., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
• Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance vs. cost
• Experience designing/architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
• Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $100-$150 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. In the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and applicable education or training.
