Intermediate Product Designer

As an intermediate product designer, you will contribute to the evolution of our Loyalty and Media & Ads experiences, helping shape how customers, advertisers, and partners engage across Best Buy Canada’s omnichannel ecosystem. You’ll design cohesive, end-to-end experiences that connect loyalty programs, customer identity, account and security, and retail media into intuitive systems. We practice a remote-first working model, leveraging in-person interactions at our head office in Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. What you’ll do as an intermediate product designer: Contribute to end-to-end omnichannel experiences by designing flows, interactions, and interfaces that connect digital and in-store touchpoints Apply and contribute to design systems, patterns, and frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across customer journeys Plan and conduct usability testing and small-scale research, translating insights into iterative improvements within defined problem spaces Translate and contribute to user insights, product strategy, and business goals into clear problem statements and scalable design solutions Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver feasible, high-quality experiences Leverage modern design tools and AI capabilities to accelerate exploration, iteration, and communication of ideas Contribute to shared design systems, documentation, and best practices to improve consistency across teams What we’re looking for: 5+ years of product design experience across UX research, interaction design, UI, content design, and validation A strong foundation in core product design skills, with depth in at least one area Experience designing end-to-end experiences, with an understanding of broader user journeys Hands-on experience conducting usability testing and translating insights into actionable improvements Ability to apply design systems, accessibility standards, and best practices Experience with Figma, Confluence, and Jira, along with exposure to AI-enabled tools Strong collaboration and communication skills A proactive, growth-oriented mindset Why you’ll love it here: Remote-first work environment Employee discounts on tech from day one Flexible health benefits and wellness program Training programs to build new skills About Best Buy As Canada’s destination for the coolest tech, Best Buy offers one of the best work environments in the country.
