IT AI Project Manager ( BioTech, Pharma or Med Device)
Our direct client is seeking an experienced IT AI Project Manager to partner with business and technology teams in delivering scalable solutions across AI, Data, Analytics, and Enterprise Platforms. This role will support strategic initiatives within a highly regulated Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and translator between business and technology stakeholders, with hands-on experience managing AI-driven and data-focused initiatives. - Title: IT AI Project Manager
- Type: Contract (6 Months to Start)
- Location: Remote
- Target Start Date: June 22, 2026
- Duration: Through End of Year with Possible Extension
- Rate: $Market/HR – 1099 or Corp-2-Corp
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects related to AI, Data, Analytics, and Enterprise Technology
- Partner with business, commercial, regulatory, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, timelines, and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology and business groups
- Support AI-based initiatives and modern data environments
- Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business objectives
- Apply Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles throughout project delivery
- Conduct and support change impact assessments to identify business, process, user, and operational impacts related to technology changes
- Identify when formal change impact assessments are needed and partner with stakeholders to support change readiness, communication, and adoption activities
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Required Experience
- Min 8 - 10 + years of experience IT Project Management
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager supporting:
- AI initiatives
- Data & Analytics projects
- Enterprise technology platforms
- Strong experience working within the Life Sciences industry can include: Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Diagnostics
- Experience supporting teams within Regulatory environments
- Hands-on experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) including supporting or conducting change impact assessments
- Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-driven and able to independently manage projects and priorities
