Position Overview

The Lead Product Manager – Marketing Data & Analytics will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of marketing data products that power the strategic initiatives of careerzynith’s digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will act as the primary liaison between the Marketing organization and the broader data engineering, analytics, and product development teams. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into robust data solutions, ensuring data quality, and driving the delivery of insights that shape guest experiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Serve as the single point of contact for all marketing data initiatives, championing data‑centric strategies that align with careerzynith’s business objectives.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Define, prioritize, and communicate a clear product roadmap for marketing data assets, balancing short‑term tactical needs with long‑term strategic vision.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full data product lifecycle—including discovery, design, ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery—ensuring seamless hand‑offs between engineering, analytics, and marketing teams.
  • Data Quality Governance: Identify, diagnose, and remediate data quality issues that could impact marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with data stewards, source owners, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Requirement Translation: Translate complex business use cases into precise data specifications, data models, and functional requirements that guide development and testing.
  • Agile Delivery: Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives) for data product squads, fostering a culture of rapid iteration, continuous improvement, and transparent communication.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketing strategists, campaign managers, product designers, and external vendors to ensure data solutions meet both internal and partner expectations.
  • Documentation & Training: Produce clear documentation, release notes, and training materials for end‑users, enabling self‑service analytics and reducing reliance on technical support.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data product health, monitor usage metrics, and proactively recommend enhancements.
  • Innovation Advocacy: Stay abreast of emerging trends in data engineering, marketing analytics, and AI/ML, championing innovative approaches that keep careerzynith at the forefront of the industry.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on data‑driven marketing products or platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data lifecycles in fast‑paced, consumer‑facing environments (e.g., travel, hospitality, entertainment).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proven track record of delivering data products that drive measurable marketing outcomes (e.g., increased campaign ROI, improved segmentation accuracy).
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the hospitality, travel, or entertainment sectors, particularly with guest‑facing platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and how they integrate with data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for data governance.
  • Exposure to machine learning models for predictive marketing (e.g., churn prediction, recommendation engines).
  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute) or Agile (e.g., Scrum Master).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, anticipate market trends, and align data initiatives with corporate strategy.
  • Data Literacy: Deep understanding of data structures, pipelines, and analytics tools, enabling you to ask the right questions and drive data‑centric solutions.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, building trust with engineers, marketers, designers, and external partners.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong critical‑thinking skills to diagnose data quality issues and devise scalable remediation strategies.
  • Leadership: Experience leading product squads, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Communication: Clear, concise storytelling that translates complex data concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Adaptability: Comfort navigating a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and new opportunities emerge daily.
