Load Coverage / Booking Specialist is expected to source, negotiate, and secure carriers on available freight in a timely and profitable manner. They will also ensure that all customer shipments are covered within the company’s quality standards. We simplify logistics through collaboration, transparency, and cutting-edge technology while delivering what matters most for freight forwarders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep daily account operations running smoothly through strong organization and follow-through
  • Communicate regularly with customers and carriers via phone and email
  • Build and manage shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries
  • Dispatch drivers and ensure trucks arrive on time
  • Track shipments and conduct check calls to monitor progress
  • Identify and qualify carriers that best fit customer needs
  • Communicate shipment details and negotiate rates when needed
  • Proactively reschedule appointments and notify all parties of changes
  • Confirm pickups occurred as scheduled and resolve exceptions quickly
  • Coordinate with drivers and shipping teams to ensure proper loading
  • Provide routing details and clear instructions to drivers
  • Escalate issues early and communicate solutions clearly
  • Assist with collecting required shipment documentation

Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email. Upper-intermediate + English Level. 1-2 years' proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a similar logistics role in brokerage. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
