Your role in our mission Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position. Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members What we're looking for 3+ years of mainframe programming experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, ICEMAN, IDCAMS, EZTrieve, Expeditor. Must have experience in IBM Transformation Extender for HIPAA EDI X12. Desired experience in any of the following: Healthcare EDI Standards and supporting Healthcare Transaction Sets 837, 276/277, 834, 835, 820 ETL tool (like ITX) ISPW and Control-M SQL Server database Other experience: Create and maintain operational, configuration, procedural and other documentation. Configures end-user or enterprise systems. Applies company and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity. Must understand mainframe integration with modern technology.
