Medicaid Consultant / Provider Liaison (Remote – NYC)

SEE BELOW FOR INSTUCTIONS ON HOW TO SCHEDULE A ZOOM INTERVIEW POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medicaid Consultant to join our team in a fully remote, contract capacity. This dual-role position combines Medicaid renewal processing with part-time responsibilities as a Third-Party Provider Liaison. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in Medicaid regulations within New York City, organized, and an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment. --- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Medicaid Consultant (Primary Role)

  • Process and manage Medicaid renewals for clients across New York City
  • Review and verify eligibility documentation to ensure compliance with current Medicaid guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records throughout the renewal process
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide status updates
  • Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in renewal applications in a timely manner
  • Stay current on changes to Medicaid policies, procedures, and requirements in New York State

Third-Party Provider Liaison (Part-Time Role)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and third-party healthcare providers
  • Attend scheduled meetings with external providers, representing the organization professionally
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams and provider partners
  • Document meeting outcomes, action items, and follow-ups
  • Help resolve provider-related concerns and escalate issues as needed

--- QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience processing Medicaid renewals, preferably in a New York City context
  • Familiarity with New York State Medicaid regulations and eligibility requirements
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to attend virtual meetings and represent the company with professionalism
  • Proficiency with standard office and remote collaboration tools
  • Prior experience in a liaison or coordination role is a plus
  • Home healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
