Medical Biller / Insurance Verification Representative (Remote)

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Billing & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote, entry-level position supporting chiropractic offices. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical billing tasks, including claim submission and follow-up
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Communicate with insurance companies as needed
• Accurately enter and manage data in billing systems
• Work across multiple online platforms and websites daily
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service when handling account inquiries
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Comfortable using internet-based tools and applications
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Schedule:

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available
• Core hours required: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (EST) – uninterrupted
• Full-time schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Part-time candidates must be available during core hours

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
