Part-Time Social Media Manager / Editor (20 hrs/week, growth to full-time)

We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Manager / Editor to join the team at Thread Theory Creative. This role starts at 20 hours per week with a clear path to full-time. This person will work closely with our Producer and be responsible for helping execute and elevate content across multiple client accounts. MUST BE LOCATED IN BOISE, IDAHO About Thread Theory Creative: Thread Theory Creative is a social media content and marketing company with locations in Boise and Seattle, serving brands across the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in creating high-quality, trend-aware content that connects with audiences and performs across platforms. We move fast, think in social, and focus on building content that not only looks good but actually works. Our team collaborates closely to produce consistent, impactful content for a wide range of clients. What we’re looking for:

• Strong attention to detail across editing, posting, and overall content execution
• Ability to edit short-form social content, especially Reels and TikToks
• Experience editing in Instagram Edits and/or CapCut
• Ability to shoot video when needed
• Deep understanding of social media trends and how to adapt them for different brands
• Someone who genuinely enjoys social media and stays current with what’s working
• Outgoing personality with the ability to collaborate and communicate with the team

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing client social media accounts
• Editing and producing trending short-form video content (Reels, TikToks)
• Assisting with content planning and execution
• Identifying and adapting trends for brand use
• Supporting day-to-day social media management under our Producer
• Capturing video content when needed on shoots or for quick-turn assets

Compensation:

• Starting at $18/hour DOE (depending on experience)
