Power BI Developer - SQL & Datawarehouse

- SQL Position Purpose The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and semantic models that support business decision-making. This role operates with a high degree of independence, owning end-to-end technical delivery of accurate and well-designed analytics solutions. The BI Developer works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and reporting solutions. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain semantic models, reports, and dashboards aligned with business requirements and data architecture.
- Build analytical models, reports and dashboards to present KPIs and business insights, ensuring usability and alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Utilize Git-integrated workflows within Microsoft Fabric that version control, CI/CD, and automated testing processes.
- Optimize report performance through advanced DAX, efficient data modeling, and best practices in report design.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards across platforms in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Partner with analysts, developers, and business users to deliver reporting solutions. Contribute to and help enforce BI standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Maintain clear documentation for reports, dashboards, and measure definitions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Powell, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
