(PRECERTIFICATION) AUTHORIZATIONS FOR MEDICATIONS! – REMOTE IC

• *Choose your own hours, control your earnings!

• *Pay: Range is approximately $400 to $1,000+ per week based on production and bonus. The more you produce the higher the bonus rate per pay period. This is transaction base, so every case you accept to work on is the paid ‘project’.
• *Job description:**

IC Position (remote- work from home) – Choose your own hours between 8 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri, with 4 hour MINIMUM or work ALL DAY IF YOU CHOOSE. Medications are the fastest growing health care segment in the country. Dozens of providers are needing help to authorize the Weight Loss Drugs, Biologics, Chemotherapeutics. If you have this experience, the sky’s the limit for availability of work and therefore, increased earnings. Orientation is paid for a few days based on assessment at the time of start. Once orientation is completed, you are able to choose your hours, increase them from 4 hrs per day if you choose and begin working to get your production and your bonus to increase!

• *Looking for those experienced in prior authorizations for Medications to work with insurance carriers to obtain the authorization for patients.**

Responsibilities

• To obtain authorizations by reviewing medical records via the client’s EMR, and then contacting the insurance company for approval and documenting the outcomes! Phoenix will offer hints and shortcuts for getting through the authorization process quickly!
• *Earnings/Rates
• Pay is transaction based. You are paid by the project! Potential to earn the equivalent minimum of $20-$30+ per hour. You control your earnings based on your production.
• You will invoice for your transactions.
• Remote paid Orientation to learn the protocols provided by the Client and documentation in the EMR. 4 hrs daily with length based on assessment.
• As an Independent Contractor, it is assumed you come with the skills to perform these projects.
• Choose the hours that you wish to be available for accepting projects (cases)
• The more projects you complete, the higher your earnings. Higher volumes earn higher rates. Many earn the equivalent of $20-$30+ per hour. Tiered rates; the more you do, the more you make! Each case(project) you accept is a paid transaction.
• *Qualifications
• Minimum 2-years' experience in Medication prior authorizations and medical terminology, providing clinical information, via phone AND online.
• Prior EMR experience, on-line portals (i.e. Availity, Evicore) is A PLUS!
• Strong Computer Skills, using Multiple windows and browsers simultaneously, include Microsoft Office experience
• Good Phone presence and grammar and spelling
• Detail oriented with excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and work independently

Requirements

• Own or lease Microsoft Office
• 2 computer monitors mandatory and will help to achieve high earning production
• High speed internet access (no Hotspots or Satellite)
