Presentation Design Specialist

• Weekend Shift – Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday. Late evenings or overnight.

Talent Groups is partnering with a premier global investment banking advisory firm to hire a Presentation Designer for its Enterprise Presentation Group (EPG). This team provides 24/7 creative support to investment banking professionals across global offices, producing high-quality pitch books, pitch decks, transaction materials, and client presentations under demanding deadlines. We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled designer with advanced PowerPoint expertise, strong illustration capabilities, and experience creating sophisticated data visualizations in Excel. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a passion for transforming complex business and financial information into compelling visual stories.

Key Responsibilities

As a Presentation Designer, you'll partner with internal stakeholders to create polished, executive-level presentation materials that support critical business initiatives and client engagements. Responsibilities include:

• Design and produce high-impact pitch books, pitch decks, client presentations, transaction materials, and marketing collateral.
• Create custom PowerPoint templates, slide layouts, title pages, section dividers, and branded presentation assets.
• Develop original illustrations, icons, infographics, and custom graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and digital illustration tools.
• Build and customize Excel charts and graphs, transforming raw data into presentation-ready visualizations.
• Integrate Excel-based charts and graphics into PowerPoint presentations while maintaining formatting consistency and visual quality.
• Design compelling visual narratives that simplify complex financial, operational, and strategic concepts.
• Collaborate directly with internal clients to understand objectives and deliver creative solutions under tight deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure exceptional accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of professional experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communications, agency design, or a related creative field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
• Manual chart and graph creation.
• Data visualization and formatting.
• Building presentation-quality charts from business and financial data.
• Embedding and editing Excel objects within PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including:
• Adobe Illustrator.
• Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong illustration skills with the ability to create custom artwork and graphics using digital drawing tools or tablets.
• Exceptional understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience supporting investment banking, private equity, consulting, legal, or other professional services organizations.
• Experience producing pitch books, pitch decks, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), board presentations, and transaction materials.
• Experience working in a presentation center, creative services department, or agency environment.
• Familiarity with financial and business data visualization.
• Experience developing and maintaining presentation templates and brand standards.
