QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Build and maintain automated UI test suites using Cypress and Playwright. Develop and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium. Validate REST APIs and automate API test coverage. Run performance and load tests using JMeter and report bottlenecks. Track and document defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, and evidence. Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify acceptance criteria early. Participate actively in agile ceremonies and quality discussions. Improve testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices. Requirements 3+ years of experience in QA roles, including manual and automation testing. Strong functional testing experience. Strong API testing experience. Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright. Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with JMeter and Postman. Experience with mobile testing and Appium. Experience testing Android and/or iOS mobile applications. Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD integrations, test case management tools, React-based applications, or cloud-based testing platforms.
