What You'll Be Doing: Lead the development of a full design and specifications package for a wide range of remedial actions. Working knowledge of electrical requirements for typical remediation components including SCADA systems. Lead remediation design projects, including: ex-situ pump and treat systems using granular activated carbon and ion exchange; in-situ injection for enhanced bioremediation, chemical oxidation, and chemical reduction; surface water diversion and gabion treatment; permeable reactive barrier; funnel and gate; interception trench; and vapor extraction. Participating in multiple teams simultaneously working on varied projects pertaining to investigation and remediation. Support the preparation of cost estimates for Feasibility Studies, Treatability Studies, and Remedial Design. Assist with the drafting of technical proposals and project documents, such as work plans, UFP-QAPPs, monitoring reports, specifications, designs, and closure reports. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in environmental engineering (or related field) 10+ years of related work experience, including experience as lead engineer of environmental remediation design projects with oversight of a group of lower-level engineers Professional Engineer registration Strong communication and writing Demonstration of success in working in a team environment, being an excellent team player as well as a leader What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with cost estimation for Feasibility Studies, Treatability Studies, and Remedial Design Experience leading Feasibility Studies and Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis Advanced knowledge and understanding of related environmental rules and regulations Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
