[Remote] Account Manager

The role involves managing customer accounts, conducting regular meetings, and collaborating with various teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of customer accounts from onboarding support through renewal
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
  • Conduct regular virtual customer meetings to review performance, goals, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor account health and proactively identify risks or opportunities
  • Review customer campaigns and accounts to identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Deliver strategic recommendations to improve customer outcomes and success
  • Assist with onboarding new customers to ensure a smooth and positive experience
  • Partner closely with the Training team to support platform adoption
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify customer success stories and growth opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Provide constructive feedback to the internal team based on customer insights
  • Lead customer meetings and presentations
  • Manage customer communications via email and other channels
  • Maintain timely and professional responses to all inquiries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a solutions-oriented mindset

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar client-facing roles
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations or within the nonprofit sector is required
  • Understanding of nonprofit fundraising, events, or donor engagement strategies is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer journeys simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-first mindset with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Experience with BetterUnite preferred but not required
