Job Summary

In this role, you will work under direct supervision to perform various tasks, including data entry, patient enrollment, and customer service. You will utilize careerzynith's pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, investigate missing data, and resolve exceptions. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages to patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Call Center Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing new patient enrollments by entering data into the system, following careerzynith's data entry methodology and guidelines
  • Handling patient medication requests, entering refill orders, and investigating missing data
  • Resolving third-party rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing
  • Providing support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and escalating issues to senior-level staff as needed
  • Maintaining a dynamic professional license or certification, obtaining one within the first 90 days of employment if not already held

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills, including typing, mouse navigation, and internet browsing
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment
  • Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician by the state or a nationally recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, with a focus on quality standards and customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
