As a Remote Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you will be the voice of careerzynith, guiding members through the complexities of health coverage, benefits, and claims. This position is fully remote, but you must reside in Arizona and work within state boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound phone support to careerzynith members, addressing inquiries related to contracts, coverage changes, eligibility, claims, provider networks, and careerzynith programs.
  • Research, process, and resolve member issues promptly, documenting each interaction accurately in careerzynith’s CRM and case‑management systems.
  • Maintain a high volume of calls while meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards set by the department.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external health plans, providers, and government agencies to gather information and achieve resolution.
  • Interpret and translate careerzynith policies, procedures, and guidelines into clear, understandable language for members.
  • Compose professional written correspondence, including emails, letters, and chat messages, ensuring consistency with careerzynith’s brand voice.
  • Continuously update knowledge of careerzynith products, system enhancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with HIPAA and careerzynith’s internal policies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a health‑insurance, claims examination, call‑center, medical office, or related healthcare environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education in health administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with PC applications (Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, and basic data entry tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, practice active listening, and achieve high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, concise business correspondence.
  • Ability to navigate multiple system applications, input data accurately, and keep records up to date.
  • Flexibility to follow direction, accept feedback, and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of building collaborative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with health‑insurance specific software platforms (e.g., claims adjudication, member portals).
  • Familiarity with Arizona health‑insurance regulations and provider network structures.
  • Certification in Customer Service Excellence or related professional development programs.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue escalation.
  • Multilingual capabilities, especially Spanish, to serve a diverse member base.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

careerzynith offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work‑life balance and personal well‑being.

  • Flexible remote work arrangement (Arizona residents only) with optional hybrid or in‑office days.
