Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat to provide problem resolution in accordance with careerzynith's service standards
  • Analyzing customer service needs and communicating with service and technical departments when applicable
  • Maintaining detailed and current knowledge of careerzynith's products and services
  • Entering required data into client-provided systems and databases
  • Escalating or referring unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments for further investigation and resolution
  • Building base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients and understanding of association guidelines and compliance

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 6 months of high-volume call center experience (onsite or remote) within the last 18 months
  • Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications
  • Familiarity with customer service software and systems
  • Basic knowledge of payment processing and related products

Desired Skills and Capabilities

* Acquires and applies job skills and learns careerzynith policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks

  • Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision-making outside of stated processes
  • Recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice and has little or no role in decision-making
  • Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requiring instructions on all assignments
  • Works under close supervision
