Position Overview

This full‑time, remote position operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM MST, with a competitive hourly pay range of $15.30 – $18.45. We welcome applicants from the following states: AL, AZ, CO, FL, ID, LA, MO, NE, NC, OK, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. As a Data Entry Representative, you will work under the guidance of the Centralized Services Supervisor, handling patient referral data, verifying information, and ensuring seamless communication across the careerzynith network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify patient referral data across multiple careerzynith systems, guaranteeing that all personnel have access to accurate information.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of entered data to confirm completeness and correctness, flagging any discrepancies for immediate resolution.
  • Process inbound faxes promptly, converting paper‑based referrals into digital records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Validate that medical scripts and referral documentation list the correct procedures, preventing downstream errors in scheduling and billing.
  • Communicate effectively with careerzynith center employees, requesting additional details when necessary to complete a referral request.
  • Maintain organized digital filing structures, ensuring that all records are easily retrievable for audits and quality checks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions to streamline data entry workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Adhere to careerzynith’s data security policies, safeguarding protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Centralized Services Supervisor, adapting to evolving business needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in customer service or data entry, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Speed & Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to achieve at least 9,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple computer screens, browsers, and careerzynith-specific software simultaneously.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong eye for detail, capable of spotting inconsistencies and correcting them before they impact downstream processes.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
  • Self‑Motivation & Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying obstacles and implementing effective solutions.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; continued education or certifications in health information management are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Prior experience with electronic health record (EHR) platforms or radiology information systems (RIS).

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, especially radiology and imaging procedures.
