Role Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in the daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer processes for alternative investment products. This position is responsible for accurately processing corporate actions, reconciling dividend activity, and resolving transaction breaks that arise between careerzynith and external fund companies, transfer agents, and other third‑party partners. The specialist will also support testing and validation of new technology enhancements, investigate escalated issues, and provide actionable solutions that safeguard client accounts and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end‑to‑end reconciliation of trade, transfer, and dividend transactions for alternative investment accounts.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve transaction breaks between careerzynith and fund companies, transfer agents, or other external partners.
  • Process corporate action events, ensuring accurate posting to client and advisor accounts.
  • Execute detailed analysis of tax‑code assignments and correct tax‑coding errors in collaboration with the tax team.
  • Conduct research on complex or escalated issues, providing clear documentation and recommendations for remediation.
  • Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements, vendor updates, and new technology implementations.
  • Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to address client inquiries and service requests.
  • Maintain compliance with governing regulations (e.g., Rule 2340, Rule 15c3‑3) and internal policies.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders regarding fund eligibility, transaction status, and remediation steps.
  • Document all activities, resolutions, and process improvements in careerzynith’s knowledge base and ticketing system.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in data entry, trade reconciliation, or corporate actions within a financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and private placements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements such as Rule 2340 and Rule 15c3‑3.
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
