[Remote] Database Analyst (Banking & Financial Services)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Database Analyst specialized in Banking & Financial Services. The role involves optimizing SQL/PLSQL queries, collaborating with stakeholders to develop scalable database solutions, and ensuring data integrity across banking platforms.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience working with FIS platforms or as part of FIS engagements is highly preferred
- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support large-scale transactional systems and improve data performance
- Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable database solutions and reporting outputs
- Perform data analysis and ensure data integrity across banking platforms, supporting critical operations such as teller systems and financial reporting
- Design and deliver data-driven insights, dashboards, and reports to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
- Support end-to-end database lifecycle activities including development, testing, deployment, and production support in an agile environment
Skills
- Prior experience working with FIS platforms or as part of FIS engagements
- Strong expertise in SQL / PL-SQL with performance optimization
- Experience in banking or financial services domain (teller/retail banking systems)
- Proven ability in business requirements analysis and stakeholder collaboration
- 13 Years of Experience
