[Remote] Freelance Social Media Videographer & Editor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Write Edge is an established SME seeking a creative freelance videographer to manage short-form social media video content. The role involves producing 4-6 videos per month for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok, from concept development to final editing.
Responsibilities
- Pitch and develop video concepts aligned with our brand and campaign goals
- Plan shoots, shot lists, locations, scheduling, props, and talent coordination where needed
- Film on-site using your own equipment (camera/ phone, lighting, audio)
- Edit and deliver polished, platform-ready videos on schedule
- Incorporate feedback within agreed revision rounds
- Stay current with trending formats, sounds, and platform changes
Skills
- Proven portfolio of short-form social media videos (brand or commercial work preferred)
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent
- Owns camera/phone gear with basic lighting and audio equipment
- Self-directed and reliable, able to manage the full workflow with minimal hand-holding
- Based in Singapore and able to travel to shoot locations
- Comfortable directing on-camera subjects or talent
- Understanding of social media performance metrics
