Remote Fundraising Manager

About the Role

Our client, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, is looking for a strategic and results-driven Remote Fundraising Manager to lead their fundraising efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the US. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure the financial resources necessary to support our critical programs. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of donor relations, campaign management, and strategic philanthropy. You will play a key role in cultivating relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners, ultimately driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to achieve organizational revenue goals. Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, including major gifts prospects. Identify, research, and solicit funding from foundations and corporate partners. Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events (virtual and in-person where applicable). Develop compelling fundraising appeals and communications materials. Manage donor databases and ensure accurate record-keeping and timely acknowledgments. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop integrated fundraising strategies. Track fundraising progress, analyze results, and provide regular reports to senior management. Stay current with fundraising best practices and emerging trends in philanthropy. Recruit, train, and manage fundraising volunteers and staff as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or CFRE certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising, with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated experience in major gift solicitation, grant writing, and campaign management. Strong understanding of donor relations management and philanthropic strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in fundraising CRM software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to ethical fundraising practices. Experience in building and nurturing collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
