[Remote] Junior Operational Excellence & Lean Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Duggan Associates is an international training and advisory firm specializing in Operational Excellence through advanced Value Stream Design. The Junior Operational Excellence & Lean Consultant role supports client engagements focused on improving performance through Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies, assisting with data collection, process mapping, and analysis in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members with data collection, process mapping, and analysis of value streams in manufacturing and complex environments
- Prepare workshop materials and support virtual and on-site training sessions
- Document key findings and improvement recommendations
- Contribute to the design and follow-up of implementation plans
- Track project progress and help clients sustain new practices
- Collaborate with internal team members and client stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables and consistent application of Duggan Associates’ methods
Skills
- Strong foundation in Lean Management and Operational Excellence, with an interest in applying these concepts in complex, mixed-model environments
- Experience or demonstrated interest in Consulting and Management Consulting, including working with clients to diagnose problems and implement solutions
- Coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to support training sessions and guide teams through new processes and tools
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic data analysis, process mapping, and root-cause analysis
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences
- Comfort working remotely, managing time independently, and collaborating with distributed teams and clients
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior exposure to Lean Manufacturing, value stream mapping, or continuous improvement projects is preferred but not required
