Position Overview – Remote Live Chat Data Entry Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross‑functional utility teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into precise data entry specifications.
  • Collect, curate, and transform Voice of the Customer (VOC) data streams, ensuring they are accurately represented in the core data lake.
  • Design and construct resilient data models that support efficient statistical processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
  • Leverage big‑data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, PySpark, Python) to develop batch and real‑time analytical solutions that meet stringent data‑quality standards.
  • Implement rigorous testing frameworks to validate data integrity at multiple stages of the data lifecycle.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize data‑processing workflows, driving efficiency across the massive data ecosystem.
  • Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python) that streamline repetitive data entry and validation tasks.

  • Work closely with the GSN and AET teams to prioritize, define, and monitor data requirements for a variety of use cases within the VOC “Stop‑Loss” strategy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting in a data‑engineering or data‑entry capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to capture functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with experience delivering incremental product improvements on a daily or weekly cadence.
