[Remote] Professional Liability & Healthcare Underwriter

They are seeking an experienced Professional Liability Territory & Healthcare Underwriter to build a profitable portfolio and enhance relationships with wholesale brokers while delivering efficient underwriting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow PL business across the East Coast, with a focus on Healthcare, Allied Health, MPL, and Excess
- Act as a territory leader, driving submission flow and conversion
- Build and deepen relationships with wholesale trading partners (phone, virtual, and in-person)
- Underwrite with discipline, creativity, and speed
- Help shape appetite, pricing, and portfolio strategy as we scale
Skills
- 5+ years Professional Liability underwriting experience
- E&S PL background required
- Established wholesale broker relationships
- Strong grasp of pricing, risk selection, and portfolio management
- Comfort making decisions in a fast-moving environment
- An entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build something meaningful
- Willingness to travel for broker meetings and industry events
- US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available
- Allied Healthcare expertise strongly preferred
