[Remote] Proposals Writer and Sales Enablement Support

Ellit Groups is a leading healthcare IT consulting firm dedicated to improving healthcare delivery through innovative technology solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled RFP Writer to develop high-quality, compliant proposals for healthcare IT services, particularly focusing on Epic Systems EHR-related implementations. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, proposal development, research, and stakeholder engagement to enhance proposal quality and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and content necessary for proposal development
- Write, edit, and format RFP responses that clearly articulate Ellit Groups’ value proposition and solutions
- Develop tailored responses for Epic Systems EHR implementations, activation services, and broader healthcare IT consulting engagements
- Ensure all proposals align with brand standards while adapting to client-specific formatting and submission requirements
- Navigate internal service line structures to identify and engage appropriate subject matter experts based on service and subservice ownership
- Follow established chain of command for content review, approvals, and deep-dive input
- Manage timelines and ensure alignment across contributors to meet submission deadlines
- Analyze RFP requirements to ensure full compliance with all guidelines, formatting, and evaluation criteria
- Conduct research on prospective clients, industry trends, and competitive positioning to strengthen proposal responses
- Maintain and continuously improve a centralized library of proposal content, templates, case studies, and reusable responses
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing use of AI-enabled proposal management tools (e.g., Loopio, Responsive, Inventive)
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current service offerings and messaging
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather input and validate content
- Present proposal drafts and revisions to senior leadership for review and approval
- Stay current on healthcare IT trends and proposal best practices
- Incorporate feedback from prior submissions to improve outcomes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in proposal writing in healthcare IT or consulting, specifically for Epic Systems EHR related projects
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT solutions and the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience with AI proposal tools such as Loopio, Responsive, or Inventive
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
