[Remote] Senior Frontend Engineer (React & TypeScript)

Workiy Inc. is an IT Services company seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The role involves building high-quality user interfaces and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using React 18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Build high-quality user interfaces and develop reusable and maintainable components
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services through RESTful APIs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams
- Implement frontend best practices and manage application state using tools such as Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand
- Contribute to the overall frontend architecture
- Analyze application performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement and monitor application telemetry using tools such as Application Insights and OpenTelemetry
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to technical design discussions
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality through automated testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
Skills
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on frontend engineering
- Extensive experience with React 18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong knowledge of state management solutions including Redux Toolkit, Context API, and/or Zustand
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Expertise in frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, and telemetry tools
- Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in code reviews
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
