Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to develop data-driven solutions that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for business applications
- Build predictive analytics, recommendation systems, forecasting models, and NLP solutions
- Develop and optimize generative AI, large language model (LLM), and deep learning applications
- Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance tuning
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business teams to implement AI solutions
- Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed
- Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science technologies
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI standards
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI development
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
- Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and experimental design
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or deep learning techniques
- Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with vector databases, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- AI-related certifications are a plus
